Everything you should know or might want to know
Journal Entry: Mon Mar 24, 2008, 10:18 AM
I RARELY use digital photography so keep in mind that most of my works were done on film. I do not edit my pictures unless there is a good reason for it and I'll note it on the print that I edit. It's rare to find young film photographers so I thought that I'd just pop in here and share my works.
I don't think I'm a great photographer but I love learning new things about film photography and experimenting with different films and techniques. Actually, I really don't consider myself much of an artist but that doesn't prevent me from taking pictures! I enjoy photography, it's one of my favourite hobbies, it's a way to express myself through others, it's a way for me to do some sort of art that I was deprived of when I was younger, and I take it seriously and learn from the mistakes I made and genuinely want to improve.
I started taking pictures in Spring 2006.
The "artist's comments" are purely for me to keep track of things so feel free to ignore them. The titles also help me keep track of when I took the picture/made the print so do not expect some fancy names!
I'm using my dA account to upload all the works that I've done. Just because things are uploaded on my dA account does not mean that they are my best works. Although I have a photo portfolio website, it's much easier for me to write comments and things on dA.
Alice Prin is my muse despite the fact that she is dead; it is not my name. I go by Chopin online but if you know my real name or other aliases, you can address me by that too.
I really appreciate comments left on my works so even if I don't reply, know that I am incredibly thankful. (But of course, I do not appreciate dumb comments that are completely irrelevant to my works such as "uR mOd3L eeZ HAwwTTT!". It's okay to compliment the model and I'll definitely tell her but don't be rude or obnoxious.
----
If anyone would like to buy larger versions of my works, have prints, etc, feel free to contact me about it.
Devious Comments

Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.
Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.
